The Patriot removed to the Higgins building on the east side of the square last, where it has an elegant office room. Hoffman, the Thorntown photographer, is overhauling the Dicks building, vacated by the Patriot, and fitting it up as a studio.

Located opposite the M.E. church on Lebanon street, is the studio where best work can be procured; being an old and competent artist he always pleases his patrons, for his work is strictly first class and prices extremely reasonable. Mr. Hoffman is a progressive photographer, taking all modern improvements and eager to excel in finish, all former efforts.

Fred Hoffman contemplates building 2-story building of 2 rooms adjoining his gallery on the east. Front room will be 40x55 ft., the front of which will be provided with large show windows and a wide double door entrance. Rear room about 25 feet wide will extend to alley and be used as business rooms. Upper rooms will be used for hall purposes. Plans not yet definite.

Lebanon Photographer Buys Out Competitor Who will Leave City.
E. S. Harvey, conducting a photographic studio on South Lebanon street, has purchased the studio of Fred Hoffman, over the Oak Drug store, and will move to the last named location next week. Mr. Hoffman retires permanently from business on account of ill health, and will probably locate at St. Augustine, Fla.
